Furnace documentation
Furnace is the platform behind every Falcata product — shared identity, data, access control, payments, content, analytics, and AI that each product builds on. Every platform capability ships three ways at once: a human interface, a REST API, and MCP tools for AI assistants. The same permission checks apply whether a person clicks or an agent calls, and every change lands in an audit trail.
These docs describe the public surface: how to authenticate, what you can call over REST and MCP, the furnace CLI, and the discovery surfaces built for AI agents. Platform internals appear only as far as they explain observable behavior.
Start here
- Your first API call — a bearer token and a
whoamiin under five minutes - Connect an agent over MCP — the same operations as typed tools
- The furnace CLI — auth, tasks, media, and workflows from the terminal
Reference
- Full API reference — every operation, generated from the live OpenAPI 3.1 specification
- For agents — llms.txt, markdown twins, catalogs, and the MCP server card
